Structure
The page of convert2mp3 belongs in the structure already to the somewhat more complicated, speak unclear converters. Still consisting of input field, associated button for conversion and selection of conversion formats (6 audio formats and 4 video formats):
Audio formats:
- mp3
- m4a
- aac
- flac
- ogg
- wma
Video formats:
- mp4
- avi
- wmv
- 3gp
In addition one finds an additional input field for the video title, which is however still incorrect at the present time. This second input is therefore advantageous because not necessarily the URL is necessary. Furthermore, there are still short text section, in which the process of converting is described in more detail.
The header contains the navigation of the page and the banner of the website. The navigation consists of the following elements:
- Home
- Addon: browser addon to make video from YouTube.com, Dailymotion.com, and Clipfish.de even easier to convert
- Charts: blank page; are no longer listed
- Info: short description; Links to: Instructions, FAQ, Why Legal ?, Terms of Use and Contact
- Tools: Links to: recent charts, browser addons, convert2mp3 for website operators and feedback
- Link: Include banner on your own website
- Language selection: English / German
In the footer you will find a language selection between English / German, as well as partner sites, contact, imprint and social media channels.
Design
The design of the site is not really appealing and a bit confusing. The header is orange, the rest of the website, body and footer are just white.
Performance
The converter works well on the whole, but could certainly be a lot faster. Could not find any problems converting. However, the alternative search with the video title does not work yet and results in an error message with each entry.
The Review
convert2mp3
To conclude, a solid converter with some problems in functionality as well as some design flaws. But definitely one of the better and more successful converters on the web.
